Terms of Service
Effective date: July 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Real Numbers (“Real Numbers,” “we,” “us”) and the business that installs or uses the Real Numbers service (“you”). By installing the Real Numbers app on your Shopify store or using realnumbers.ai, you agree to them.
The service
Real Numbers provides retention analytics for your Shopify store: cohort retention, customer ladder progression, acquisition and expansion metrics, and recommended actions delivered through dashboards and reports. We connect to your store through a read-only integration you authorize at install time, and you can revoke that access at any time by uninstalling the app.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the authority to connect the store you install Real Numbers on, and your use of our service must comply with your own obligations to your customers, including your privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you provide directly (for example, marketing spend figures or targets used in your reports).
- You may not resell the service, attempt to access another merchant’s data, probe or disrupt our systems, or use the service to violate any law.
Fees
Fees, billing terms, and any trial arrangements are set out in your order form or written agreement with us. Unless stated otherwise there, fees are invoiced directly by Real Numbers, are due on receipt, and are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.
Your data
You own your store’s data. You grant us the right to process it solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We own the service itself — the software, the metric definitions, the report formats, and any aggregated, de-identified insights that cannot be linked to your store or your customers.
Analytics, not advice
Real Numbers reports are analytical tools based on the data available to us. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice, and business decisions you make based on them are your own. While we work hard to make every number trustworthy, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using Real Numbers at any time by uninstalling the app from your store, which immediately revokes our access. We may suspend or terminate the service for material breach of these terms that remains uncured after notice. Upon termination, we delete your store’s data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you by email before it takes effect, and your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
